Very soon all members will receive an email invitation to access the new system ( for most members this will be 2nd December, but Group lead volunteers and District/County teams will get access a few days earlier to enable them to set things up).

First steps

Once you get your email  invitation, follow the First steps checklist: all members | Scouts  to get going

Support

The system is designed to be easy to use and intuitive, so we are confident most people will get online and find their way around.  However, we understand some help may be needed with some of the systems, as well as local processes and teams that are changing.   We have a series of levels of support to help you get going.

Tier 1- self-service

  • Online “how to” videos
  • Online “help guide”
  • Visit Digital tool guides | Scouts
  • How do I sign on to the new system?
  • How do I know what training I need to do?
  • How do I reset my password?
  • How do I nominate someone for an award?
  • How do I apply for a permit?
  • And much, much more ……

Tier 2- Local go live support

  • Local advice on changes to District processes (welcome conversations, nights away permits, NAN forms etc, growing roots etc)

Tier 3- HQ support

  • Escalation from District and County support teams
  • Bugs and fixes
  • Registration on to system issues

HQ are aware some volunteers are facing difficulties when signing into scouts.org.uk, such as receiving an error message which mentions their security software, CloudFlare,  not being able to get past the sign on screen or a message saying website is not available.

Interim solution: If you receive an error message, clear your browser’s history, cookies and cache, and then close and reopen the browser. If you continue to receive an error message on signing in, try using ‘incognito/private browsing’ mode, or a different browser.

Alternatively, you can sign in to the digital tool you need with the links below:

  2. My Membership: scouts.org.uk

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
