Transformation

As we get closer to transforming volunteering at Scouts, several tasks need to be completed to ensure everyone is ready to move to the new membership system (Currently expected to be live before the end of 2024). Any Questions then please contact the Transformation lead on email:

The new Membership System will be accessible to all adult volunteers through a single sign-on from within the Scouts.org.uk Web pages. The new system will incorporate three areas covering

  • New member joining
  • Membership Records
  • Learning

We need to start preparing ourselves so that when the new Membership system is switched on and the old one (Compass) is switched off, we don’t lose any precious training records, your years of service or any essential information.

Tasks every volunteer needs to do:-

  1. Make sure your information is up-to-date (before the end of September 2024)
  2. Adopt the team-based approach
  3. Prepare for our new ways of working
  4. Keep your eyes out for upcoming webinars and information from HQ to support the move to our new Digital tools.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
