Accommodation / Catering Districts will be camping together – please share resources where possible as space will be at a premium. District space will be allocated by the site team, depending on numbers. Please be advised that some sites will be situated in the wooded area of PACCAR.
We encourage Districts to consider central catering as again this will reduce the requirement for kit and space.
Gateway Districts will be asked to provide 3 activities to run on the Saturday
We will need some leader/ YL assistance with site run activities, so we are able to maximise the number of activities the Cubs are able to take part in.
Over 30 onsite activities to include (subject to weather conditions and availability at the time) – Junior Tomahawks, Climbing, Shooting, Archery, Abseiling, Junior Cross Bows, Rabbit Run, Zip Wires, Create Stacking, Quick Drop, 3G Swing, High Ropes, Circus skills plus others laid on by the County Team.
Nights Away Permit and Notifications You don’t need to have a Nights Away Permit to attend – there will be sufficient leaders to assist.
Please just let us know nearer the time so we can make sure you are covered
You will be expected to complete a NAN form and provide the details to your District Lead Volunteer for the camp
First Aid There will be an onsite First Aid team to assist leaders – leaders should also have their own First Aid kit and cover ensuring that all the leaders in attendance are up to date with their First Aid.
