Braidwood is a friendly site, ideal for so many outdoor activities with pack, troop or patrol, for weekends, overnights or longer.

Anybody is welcome to visit before booking and meet team members, who will take you on a guided tour of the site If requested.

Staying at Braidwood doesn’t always have to be back to basics, if you want a few home comforts then we can always find the right accommodation for your group.

The holiday centre has two excellent buildings for Beaver Scout sleepovers, Cub Scout pack holidays and family camps.

Braid Wood does not have a resident warden, but a team of voluntary staff will be on-site at regular intervals.

Location

The site is set high in the beautiful Chiltern Hills about four kilometres (2.5 miles) from Chesham. This natural site is located in unspoilt countryside close to the village of Asheridge. Map reference 165 – 934050.

We ask for your consideration of our neighbours in the village of Asheridge when driving to and from the site.

Minibuses and large vehicles are recommended to arrive at the site via Bellingdon.

If using a Sat-nav please DO NOT use ASHOTT LANE – this is not suitable for motor cars
